How does it work?

You are an employer? You have 2 options:

1. Enroll your employees in the courses posted in our calendar
OR
2. Call us to create your own groups according to your employees' needs.

Register for the course in the field you want to work in: administration, accounting, engineering, health .

Rates (taxes and material included)
Individual: 650$
Corporation: 900$ per employee

Conditions
30 hours over a period of 15 weeks
Groups of 4 to 6 students maximum.

Location
Due to the current situation, all our courses are currently offered at a distance.

French for Health

Public: orderlies, nursing assistants, nurses. Also open to other health care professions.

Details

Objectives:

  • Ease and autonomy in daily professional communications with patients, patients' families, colleagues and supervisors.
  • Good understanding of French work documents: forms, patient records, abbreviations, etc.
  • Ability to speak fluently in one-on-one situations and in meetings on familiar professional topics.
  • Grammatical correctness of expression.
  • Knowledge of specific healthcare vocabulary.

Method:

  • Realistic speaking and writing activities.
  • Exercises to review the necessary grammar elements.
  • Nursing and health care vocabulary.

French for Administration

Public: administrative officer, administrative assistant, executive assistant, customer service agent.
 

DETAILS

  • Fluency and autonomy in daily professional communications.
  • Good understanding of French working documents.
  • Fluency in speaking one-on-one and in meetings on familiar business topics.
  • Grammatical correctness of expression.
  • Knowledge of specific vocabulary in the field of administration.

Method:

  • Realistic oral and written expression activities.
  • Exercises to review the necessary grammar elements.
  • Vocabulary of administrative tasks.

French for Accounting

Public: accounting clerks, accounts payable/receivable officers, accounting technicians, assistant controllers, controllers, collection agents. May be tailored to a specific area in case of a single employer.

Details

Objectives:

  • Fluency and autonomy in day-to-day professional communications: relations with government and financial institutions, relations with suppliers, customers, etc.
  • Good understanding of the company's working documents in French: invoices, contracts, service offers, payrolls.
  • Ability to speak fluently in face-to-face and in meetings on familiar accounting topics: bookkeeping, payment follow-up, bank reconciliation, etc.
  • Grammatical correctness of expression.
  • Knowledge of vocabulary in the specific field of accounting.

Method:

  • Realistic oral and written expression activities.
  • Exercises to review the necessary grammar elements.
  • Vocabulary of accounting and finance.

French for Engineering

Public: technical agents, operators, technicians from various engineering fields. Possibility of adapting to a specific field in the case of an employer.

Details

Objectives:

  • Fluency and autonomy in daily professional communications: evaluation, quality control, development and implementation of procedures and monitoring of production and activity, collaboration in problem solving.
  • Good understanding of the company's working documents in French (plans, specifications, standards, etc.).
  • Fluency in speaking one-on-one and in meetings on familiar technical topics.
  • Grammatical correctness of expression.
  • Knowledge of the vocabulary of the specific field of engineering involved and its field of activity.

Method:

  • Realistic oral and written expression activities.
  • Exercises to review the necessary grammar elements.
  • Vocabulary of the engineering tasks.
